On The Farm.

The air was crisp as we walked out to the west side of the yard, the side where the majority of the animals resided. It was probably the coldest morning we had come by this fall. My dearly beloved best friend/neighbor's horses met us at the fence to tell us "Good Morning" The frost covered the fence, framing tiny melted footprints left behind by the cat and the rooster. The sun was just barely up, and had not yet melted the white crystals formed on the grass and tree branches.

My Sincerest Apologies.

Oh my very dear and very few readers, I apologize again and again for abandoning you in your time of semi boredom. I cannot stress my apologies enough. My life has been full of busy-ness. Here are the things you have missed in the last little while.

-Me running around the house and to and from the post office trying to get my school application sorted out.
     -My fabulous Aunts wedding.
-Many sleepless nights due to my two handsom cats wrestling in my bedding at all hours of the night.
-Adventures through old abandoned houses and de-railed train cars with That Guy.
-My head spinning as i try to come up with something to study next year.
     -Halloween approaching fast!!

I am so, so sorry. I promise to be more frequent from now on, even if it is just a little something.

Cheers,
-Meadow

Abode.

For those of you that are interested, here is a post informing you all on the character of the place of my dwelling.

I have lived in this beautiful house since I was 4 years old. (until then I was a nomad/hippie child). The house itself, is ever changing. My father is a carpenter with a construction business, which means occasionally he takes time off to fix something, or add another entire room. Anyways, here is a bit of a photo-tour. It is not very in depth, but it shows the strange and unique personality of my family.
Sitting Room and Childhood Moccasins.
 Decorative Teapots.
The Living Room Cat.
Paper Cranes.
The Bedroom Bear.
Windowsill Bird.
The Lovely Living Room.

I hope you enjoyed that rather sneak peak, I am so happy to be living where I am. As Abbey has mentioned, it truly is Rustically Magical.

Cheers!

The Return, and Blustery Fall Days.

Yesterday night my childhood best friend returned home for Thanksgiving weekend. Alas, we were bound to spend some time together on the beautiful weekend that she had chosen to come home on. We sat on the front porch, drinking Ginger Tea and reminiscing about the old times. It was truly sublime. Afterwords, threw on our jackets, (leather and blazer) grabbed our cameras (canon and nikon) and trudged out into the field with the wind on our backs.

Finally we arrived at the site of many pictures passed, Our old tire swing the we had crafted out of an ancient tire and rope, neither of which are highly trustworthy.
Our time spent together was such a blessing. Lots of laughs, plenty of shared photos, and warm cups of tea.

It was good to be together again.

Until a year ago we were inseparable. together, every single day of the week. we no longer live near each other, however somehow, the bond is still there, and it seems to be everlasting. It is friends like these that we get the privilege to be thankful for.

Happy Fall. Cheers!
